We couldn't recommend this hostel more. The ambience and attention to detail with decor were fantastic. The common areas with a river view and the well-stocked kitchen were a delight. The premises have been upgraded and modernized while still preserving the historic architecture. The room overlooking the canal was a great choice, providing a stunning view. The small town atmosphere and nature surrounding the hotel were wonderful. The walking path along the canal and river added to the charm.

I recently spent Christmas at a beautiful ryokan in Ito and it was a truly magical experience! the onsen was absolutely amazing. the hot springs were so relaxing and soothing, providing the perfect escape from the cold weather outside. Additionally, the traditional ryokan-style room was incredibly clean and cozy, with toasty warm bedding. the view of the waterway outside was also breathtaking, adding to the overall charm of the place.

Honestly, there was nothing that I disliked about my stay at the ryokan. Everything exceeded my expectations and I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas getaway.

I recently stayed at K's House in Ito for a week-long getaway. The hostel is located in a charming, historic building with picturesque views of the canal. The dorm rooms have a traditional feel, complete with Tatami mats and comfortable futon beds. The highlight of my stay was the private onsen, which was the perfect way to relax after a long day of exploring. Additionally, the air conditioning in the room provided much-needed relief from the summer heat. the unique atmosphere and convenient access to an onsen made my stay truly enjoyable.

We absolutely loved our stay at K's House Ito Onsen - Historical Ryokan Hostel in Ito! The balcony, room, and staff were amazing. The clean kitchen and private hot spring were a bonus. The craft beer they sell is fantastic too! The staff went above and beyond with their recommendations for nearby restaurants and must-see sights. Staying in a historical and authentic ryokan was super cool, and the onsen inside the building was clean and convenient. The view from our room was breathtaking. We're already considering making another reservation so our parents can experience what we did.

It felt like a home away from home, no complaints at all.

The walls were thin, and we were disturbed by noisy guests during the night, including one person who thought it was funny to blow a duck whistle. the futons were uncomfortably hard and could use replacement.

As friends who enjoy going out at night, we loved the spacious family room with a beautiful river view. The friendly staff, fantastic kitchen/social area, and cozy terrace overlooking the river were all highlights. The private onsen on each floor was a pleasant surprise, and being able to use them for free all night was a bonus. The authentic feel of the building added to the overall amazing experience.

This place was amazing! the staff was so friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We loved the activities they offered, like traditional dance workshops and tea ceremonies. the location was also perfect, with beautiful views of the river and traditional houses nearby. And let's not forget about the onsen! It was such a treat to have access to a clean and relaxing onsen, especially considering the affordable price of the guest house.

The only downside was that the mattresses were quite thin and on the floor, which might be challenging for those with mobility issues. Additionally, the old building is a bit clairaudient, so you may hear some noise from other guests.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hostel. The traditional ryokan feel was amazing, and even though we stayed in a mixed futon dorm, it was incredibly comfortable. The on-site onsen was a highlight, and we made use of it frequently. The cleanliness of the hostel was impeccable, and the atmosphere was the best we experienced throughout our entire trip in Japan. Additionally, the hostel's location near the train station made it conveniently accessible and allowed us to explore nearby parks and enjoy the beautiful river views.

During our romantic escape, we enjoyed the cozy and intimate atmosphere of the shared tatami room. the view from our balcony overlooking the river was absolutely breathtaking. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with great local knowledge and recommendations for activities in the area. the fast WIFI in the lobby lounges was a convenient amenity.

One aspect we did not appreciate was the temperature of the privatisable onsen on the upper floor, which was too hot to even enter. However, we understand the hotel's commitment to being environmentally friendly.

We even made new friends and enjoyed engaging conversations into the late hours of the night. K's House is truly a place where you can spend the whole day, reading, reflecting, and immersing yourself in the traditional Japanese culture.

I stayed 8 nights in this wonderful place. From the very first moment the staff made me feel very welcome. The staff is awesome :) Best place I have stayed on my long travel. The onsen were fantastic for relaxing after a day of hiking, and the shared lounge spaces have a really zen vibe. We met some great people there and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

The 100-year-old building had such a unique and nostalgic feel, like stepping into a scene from Spirited Away. Our room was spacious and had a private sun deck with a beautiful river view. The onsen on the bottom floor was a perfect way to relax after a long day of traveling. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. I highly recommend this place for a memorable and authentic stay in Japan.
