The hotel offered a fantastic breakfast that was by far the best we had in Japan. There was a delightful hiba tub in the bathroom that added a touch of luxury to our stay.

One tiny hiccup was waiting at the front desk while the staff helped another couple. it felt a bit overlooked. But honestly, the staff's friendliness and responsiveness made up for it overall.

Exceptional stay! The large tatami room was beautiful, and the wooden bathtub was a highlight 💖. Staff provided amazing service and local tips 🤗!

Take advantage of the origami lessons offered, as it's a fun way to engage with the staff and learn a traditional Japanese craft.

The breakfast options were outstanding and varied.

The 24h lounge with coffee and sake is just lekka! We got a free upgrade to a deluxe room, and that wooden bath? Eina, pure bliss! Plus, it's only a 10-15 min walk to the station, vibes are just perfect here!

Only slight downside? The brekkie service was a bit slow on busy days.

Super convenient location very close to subway and a relaxing zen garden at the room's entrance. Staff were prompt and incredibly helpful. Breakfast had delicious local ingredients 👌

From the moment we entered our twin room with tatami areas, we were captivated by its spaciousness and elegant design. The unique wooden screen at the entrance added a lovely touch of traditional Japanese aesthetics. Every morning, the welcoming ambiance and complimentary welcome drink were delightful. What stood out most was the hotel's attentive staff who made our family feel truly special. they went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. This experience made our time in Kyoto unforgettable.

The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed with tatami floors. Traveling with our non-service dog was a breeze, and the close proximity to Nishiki Market made exploring easy. Breakfast offered both Western and Japanese options, which delighted everyone in our family, especially the kids.

For dads, it would be great if there were more family-friendly dining options nearby.

the wooden bath in the room was a unique and enjoyable experience. the hotel bar closes too early at 10PM.

The room was super spacious and comfortable, and having charging ports readily available was a lifesaver! I enjoyed relaxing with a full body massage and trying out the soothing foot massage. Just a heads up, some of the rooms don’t face the main street, which might feel a bit less lively, but we still had a great time! 😊

The location between Gion and the train station is ideal, especially with the stunning Higashi Hongan-ji Temple nearby. Exceptional staff facilitated dining reservations, truly enhancing the experience. The room design reflected Japanese elegance, complemented by a comfortable wooden bath that added to the relaxation. The 24-hour lounge offering coffee, beer, and sake was a delightful touch, making it easy to unwind at any hour.
