The value for money was great, with spacious and comfortable rooms, and a nice view from the upper floors. The location was convenient, with easy access to shopping, transportation, and local attractions. The staff were friendly and spoke English well.

The only thing that could have been better was the breakfast selection, especially for children.

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Hotel Mystays in Kyoto. Stayed for 5 nights for leisure purposes. Check-in was effortless and the room was clean and spacious. Loved the small table and comfort chairs near the window that opened for fresh air. The fridge was a good size, and there were plenty of nearby supermarkets for snacks, beer, wine, and meals. The second-floor amenities were a bonus with coffee, tea, drinks, snacks, and even ice available. Convenient location with various transportation options nearby. a great spot!

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

During my recent stay at Hotel Mystays Kyoto Shijo, I was delighted by the excellent location of the hotel. Situated right on Shijo-Dori, it provided easy access to the main shopping district and the enchanting Gion area of old Kyoto. Convenience stores and a supermarket were just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient.

Although there were some minor drawbacks, like the lack of block-out curtains and the extra stop that the elevator made on every floor, they were easily overshadowed by the overall positive experience.

The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, with both the lobby and the rooms being very clean and well maintained. The staff was also very helpful and friendly, even going so far as to assist me when I got lost on my way to the hotel. The location was very convenient, with the hotel being very close to bus stops and only one block away from the subway station. This made getting around the city a breeze, as I had easy access to transportation options.

This hotel is very conveniently located on the main street, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. I felt safe walking alone, even late at night, as there are two supermarkets nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, addressing all our needs. The rooms were spacious and came with a humidifier, which was a nice touch. The linen was changed daily, keeping everything fresh. Additionally, the breakfast buffet, included in our rate, offered a variety of options.

All was perfect, nothing to complain about.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, just a short walk to the nearest train station and surrounded by plenty of cafes and convenience stores. It was also within walking distance to popular tourist areas like Gion. Another great aspect was the size of the room, which was surprisingly spacious compared to other hotels in Japan.
