My stay at Nazuna Kyoto Tsubaki St. was an unforgettable experience. The unique and beautiful design of the hotel made for a perfect first night in Kyoto. I was blown away by the outdoor hot tub, which provided a zen-like atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the tatami-style living room upstairs added a touch of traditional Japanese culture. The on-site restaurant was stunning, and though the food was expensive, it was absolutely delicious. The staff went above and beyond, accommodating our request to have the meat grilled instead of raw. Additionally, having a Family Mart right next door was convenient for snacks and coffee. I highly recommend staying at this hotel, especially for couples seeking a special experience.

While the breakfast was just okay and the price of the hotel was a bit high, these minor drawbacks did not overshadow the overall enjoyable experience. I also wished that the lounge's snacks and drinks were available past 9:30pm.

The villas are stunning, with a perfect mix of contemporary and traditional Japanese design. The private bath is lovely and relaxing. The staff provided excellent service and introduced us to delicious traditional Kyoto dishes at breakfast. Would definitely return and try their other accommodations.
