The ryokan exceeded our expectations with its traditional atmosphere, spacious rooms, and thoughtful touches. The private onsen was a blissful experience, and the delicious, homemade meals in the Japanese style dining room were a highlight. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, despite the language barrier. it was a very nice experience, and we highly recommend staying here.

I recently stayed at a lovely ryokan nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Despite being located on a hill, it was still close to the train station, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The room was beautifully furnished in traditional Japanese style, complete with tatami mats and sliding doors. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was delicious. The view from the ryokan was breathtaking, offering a peaceful retreat after a busy day of sightseeing.

The traditional design of the building was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. the location was convenient, close to a popular tourist attraction and a simple bus ride to a museum. the room was clean and spacious with a comfortable atmosphere.

Though the private bathroom option was preferable, the shower was not very comfortable due to the sporadic temperature and water pressure changes, which made it a bit of an unpleasant experience.

The location of this hotel is great, just out-of-town near the forest and rice fields. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but manageable, and there's a simple bus trip to both the Hida Folk Village and the Matsuri No Mori Museum, which is very nice if you are looking to spend a day exploring. The family-sized room we stayed in was lovely, very large and comfortable, with a separate sitting and entrance area. The breakfast provided was extremely filling and good, listed as continental but actually a comprehensive breakfast.

We stayed at a ryokan at the foot of the mountains, offering a great base for exploring the Japanese alps. the living space was big and comfortable, with clean facilities. the owner and staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. We enjoyed a delicious traditional dinner at a reasonable price. the ryokan had a large tatami room with a good bathroom and sitting area, providing a nice city and mountain view. the location was fantastic, with walks close by and a 25-minute walk to town. it was a most enjoyable stay for us.
