I had a fantastic stay at this hotel right on the waterfront in Knysna. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the harbor and lagoon. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a heated swimming pool that I thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious, offering a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my stay.

Both rooms had faulty units with remotes that didn't work. the noise from the air cons was very loud and disruptive.

We had a fantastic stay at Protea Hotel in Knysna. The hotel is perfectly located on the waterfront, with stunning views of the harbor. Our room on the top floor was lovely, and we were even surprised with a complimentary bottle of wine. The outdoor swimming pool was a highlight, heated and felt like a relaxing bath. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The hotel is also conveniently situated near shops, restaurants, and Thesen Island. we had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

The heated swimming pool was a bonus. The assistance provided from arrival to check-in was excellent. The rooms were beautifully finished with attention to detail. Breakfast was a feast with helpful waiting staff. I highly recommend this hotel for a perfect stay.
