The hotel offers stunning views of the river and beautiful public areas. The staff is incredibly helpful and the breakfast is delicious. The rooms are comfortable and some have balconies with great views.

The location is quite far from downtown, making it inconvenient for exploring the city.

Had an amazing stay at a beautifully located riverside hotel for a city break. the staff went above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable experience. the amenities were perfect including a great coffee spot just a quick walk away. Enjoyed the comfortable beds and the onsen was a perfect way to unwind after a long day of sightseeing.

The check-in process was a bit slow, and one of the staff members seemed to lack professionalism. However, the service provided by the rest of the staff made up for the initial hiccup.

Lovely partially enclosed bathroom. Superb service, spectacular view, park and river nearby. Helpful staff, complimentary taxi ride. Room with small garden, outdoor hot tub. Amazing mountain view, beautiful Japanese garden. Free taxi ride, walking distance to attractions, restaurants, souvenir shops. Perfect location in Arashiyama, delightful afternoon tea. Lavish onsen, excellent lunch and breakfast.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the luxurious amenities at this venue. the spa centre was definitely one of the highlights , I indulged in a full body massage and beauty treatment and it was heavenly. the garden area was also a serene spot to relax in. the room was top, notch, with exclusive features such as a private outdoor hot spring bath and a spacious private terrace.

The location was a bit far from some of the major tourist attractions, but this wasn't a huge issue as the hotel offered a taxi ride to Kyoto. the only minor issue was that the wifi was spotty at times, which was frustrating if you needed to work or use the internet for extended periods.
