As party people, we loved the outstanding hillside location with breathtaking views of Mt Yufu and Yufuin town. The in-room and family baths were amazing, and the staff arranged complementary transport for us. The ryokan had a homey feel and the staff were warm-hearted and helpful. The food was some of the best we've had from a ryokan.

A Warm and Luxurious Retreat

From the moment we arrived, we felt like royalty at Yufuin-Sanso Waremokou. The staff warmly welcomed us and made us feel right at home with a delightful snack and tea. Our room was incredibly spacious and had everything we could possibly need. The highlight was definitely the private indoor and two outdoor onsens, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery. We couldn't resist indulging in the tranquil onsen experience.

We had a lovely romantic getaway and the room had a stunning view. The staff were unbelievably helpful and even offered to drive us to the train station when we needed it. The food was delicious and the portion was generous.

The location is slightly further from town, but the staff made up for it with their free shuttle service.

The location of the hotel is a bit far from the station, but it is worth the distance. Situated on top of the mountains, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the surrounding town area. Whether you opt for the bigger Black cab or the smaller White cab, you are in for a treat. The rooms are spacious and feel like home, complete with a private indoor and two outdoor onsens. The staff is attentive and the breakfast is a phenomenal feast.
