I stayed at Hotel Gobernador for a week and it was like a little oasis in the heart of the city. The grounds were beautiful, with over 20 different types of trees and the sound of the wind through the pine trees was so peaceful. The hotel has a 60 ft. high main building that blocks out all city noise, making it incredibly quiet. The architecture is impressive, with high ceilings and a stunning coffee shop. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the staff provided great customer service.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the heart of town, just a short walk from the main attractions. Excellent room service, friendly staff, beautiful pool and surroundings. The waiters were friendly and helpful during our 3-night stay and even brought us a pot of coffee within 10 minutes of our call. Despite minor issues with the toilet, our room was comfortable, clean, and accessed through a secure door. I recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was top-notch, with the rooms and common areas always looking spotless. Two incidents of toilet problems in our room. No cappuccino available in the morning due to the bar being closed.

The grounds were lovely with plenty of parking. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast and the functional Wi-Fi was a plus. the rooms were clean and spacious with all of the necessary amenities.

The staff was inattentive and rude at times. the beds were uncomfortable and there were maintenance issues with the rooms.

I recently stayed at Hotel Gobernador in Durango for a few days. The hotel has an old traditional charm and is conveniently located near downtown. The reception area and dining area are grand and filled with historic ambiance. The gardens are lush and there is a pretty coffee bar tucked away in one corner. The service at the coffee bar was pleasant, and the bread and meat offerings at dinner were delicious. Victor, the man at the front doors, was very helpful, pleasant, engaged. I had an excellent experience and would highly recommend this hotel.
