The grounds of Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa were beautifully maintained and offered stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, with one memorable moment being the delicious meals that included freshly prepared local dishes and delightful drinks at the pool area.

Man, the adult pool vibes were just next-level! Angel at the pool really made our time special, always checking in and having a jol. We had a lekker brekkie overlooking the ocean every morning — just brilliant views, boet! Plus, the room service was on point, super polite and fast.

But flip, the dining experience was a bit dicey at times. We got tossed into a buffet one night when we were keen for a sit-down — not cool when you're expecting a full meal, ja?

but be ready for slow service at lunch! the pools were stunning, often clean too. loved the spacious one bedroom suite with ocean view. the spa was gorgeous and staff was so friendly.

Customer service can be inconsistent, with long waits for room access and dining reservations. Also, evening entertainment options were notably lacking, leaving the atmosphere quiet and somewhat boring after dinner.

The location is nice and the views are fab if you get a good room! The landscaping is beautiful and the golf cart drivers are super friendly, like little peppy transporters. The rooms are spacious with handy kitchenettes for quick snacks.

But goodness, the food prices could make your wallet weep! And if you want coffee, prepare for a heart attack on your bill — $8 for coffee? Really? !

We spent an incredible week in a villa that felt like home. Alejandra made sure every inch was spotless, and Guillermo was always just a text away to help us with anything! By the end of the week, he felt like family, it was heartwarming. Everything from our private pool views to the food was top-notch.

It wasn't cheap, but the experience was well worth it.
