The location of the hotel was great, being right by the lake. The beautifully maintained gardens added to the lovely ambiance. It was also convenient to be able to walk to the town square or the malecón for a more peaceful vibe.

The noise level during our stay was a bit high due to children and adult groups trying to outdo each other's music at the pool area.

Despite some minor issues, my recent stay at Hotel Villas in Ajijic was enjoyable. The location was great, close to the town center and right by the lake. The hotel grounds were beautiful and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious and some even had basic kitchen facilities. The rates were reasonable, especially considering the general price level of accommodation in Ajijic. The staff was helpful, although it would have been better if they were able to communicate in English. I would recommend this hotel for a decent stay in Ajijic.
