My wife and I stayed at Occidental for 10 nights and it was a great decision. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly. The food was perfect, especially lunch. The hotel feels like a botanical garden with beautiful trees, flowers, raccoons, and iguanas. The beach was fantastic with clean sand and great snorkeling. We enjoyed activities like beach volleyball, pool volleyball, and water polo. We also did a snorkeling trip to the corals and rented a car to explore the island. Best stay ever!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, providing a feeling of privacy and seclusion. The hotel facilities were excellent, with multiple restaurants and bars offering delicious food and cocktails. The two main pools, one reserved for adults, were well-maintained, and the staff provided excellent service on the sun loungers at the pool and on the beach. The location of the hotel, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and wildlife, created a unique and serene atmosphere.

The rooms were cozy and comfortable with great pillows, and the staff were very friendly and proactive at the beach/pool bar. This place had excellent room service and amenities, such as a safe and free Wi-Fi in the rooms. We also enjoyed the dining restaurant and bar/lounge area, especially the delicious food and refreshing drinks. The leisure spa & wellness center with its body wraps, massage, and beauty treatments was a great way to unwind after a long day of activities. we highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

We had an amazing time during our romantic escape at this hotel. the rooms were modern and clean, providing us with a comfortable and cozy environment. the beach was simply breathtaking, with crystal, clear waters and soft sand. We also loved the fact that the hotel was located away from the touristy areas, giving us a sense of seclusion and tranquility. It was the perfect spot for a romantic getaway.

There were a couple of aspects that we didn't enjoy. the food was quite poor, lacking in quality and variety.

The property was beautiful, staff was amazing, beach was lovely, rooms were amazing, loved the wildlife around the gardens.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. The location was perfect for my scuba diving vacation, with a dive shop right in front and extended meal hours. The rooms were close to the beach and dive center, making it convenient to walk back and forth. The staff was always gracious and helpful.

We had an amazing time at the resort. The warm weather was perfect for a relaxing vacation. We were able to enjoy the beautiful property, filled with lizards, coatis, and birds. The staff at the buffet went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, and the two specialty restaurants we tried were fantastic. The service throughout the resort was excellent, and our room was comfortable with a nice bathroom. Finding a spot at the beach was easy, and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. it was a nice place to stay with sincere staff and good cocktails.

Great location, clean rooms with beach views. Easy access to docks for diving and delicious food available throughout the day. Exceptional service, cleanliness, and helpful staff for check-in and check-out. Enjoyed drinks by the pool and on the beach while watching sunsets.

I got great value for my money at this hotel. The room was comfortable and the Mexican architecture and grounds were absolutely beautiful. The staff treated me with friendliness and helpfulness throughout my stay.
