i was really looking forward to a romantic getaway, but instead, we had karaoke blasting until 1:30 am and no HVAC. my back paid for sleeping on a board hard bed. honestly, we deserved a complimentary upgrade or something to make up for these inconveniences, but, alas, they treated us like everyone else, how absurd!

The main highlight of my stay was the Polynesian room, which was spacious and had an incredible ocean view. The staff were incredibly helpful. I even got dinner delivered to my room when I wasn’t feeling well. Plus, the proximity to the beach made it easy to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Several inconveniences stood out during my stay. For starters, the absence of HVAC made it tricky to stay comfortable, especially with only a wood furnace available—wood purchases added up. There were no TVs in the room, which I thought was odd, and the bathroom setup was less than ideal with a window facing a public walkway. Lastly, the karaoke noise from the bar until 1:30 AM was a bit much after a long drive. Overall, it had its quirks, but the views are worth it.

Staying at Poco Cielo was a delight! The Polynesian room offered an incredible ocean view, and I loved being able to stroll downstairs to indulge in breakfast or dinner. Plus, the friendly staff went out of their way to deliver dinner to my room when I wasn’t feeling well!

Sure, no TVs in rooms can be a challenge, and those 90 stairs to the beach aren’t exactly wheelchair-friendly.

A Perfect Getaway for Families

The rooms are huge and have these amazing decks where we enjoyed our meals while soaking up the stunning views. The staff treated us like family, delivering food right to our deck so we could have a relaxing time without the need to leave our space.

It wasn't exactly cheap but for what we got, it felt just right.

poco cielo is the perfect place to soak up some sun. the ocean view from our deck was stunning, and sipping margaritas while watching the sunset was unforgettable. the staff was super friendly, and the restaurant downstairs served delicious food. we loved the relaxing vibe here!

Y’all, we fell in love with the views here! The food? Bless your heart, it was finger-lickin’ good. And can I just say, margaritas on the house were the cherry on top! The fireplace warmed up our romantic evening just right. You gotta try that duck dish for dinner, it nearly made me weep. Perfect little getaway!
