The staff were friendly and helpful, and the wifi worked well. The pool area was clean and relaxing, and the warm water and sun were invigorating. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in the heart of the historic area, right off the center where the music is played into the wee hours of the morning. It is also opposite to Veracruz's central square, offering a bustling atmosphere. Additionally, guests can enjoy a view of the harbor from the hotel.

Some areas of the hotel, such as the rooms and bathrooms, show signs of wear and tear.

The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the historic center of Veracruz. It is right across from the zocalo and within a 10-minute walk of everything. The famous San Juan de Ulua is also just a 15-minute car drive away. As a light sleeper, I appreciated that the noise from the lively square didn't bother me in my room at night. The hotel staff was incredibly attentive and the facilities were well-preserved. There is even a convenient Sanborns on the ground floor.

Centrally located across the lively Zocalo plaza, Hotel Veracruz Centro Historico was the perfect choice for my stay. The vibrant atmosphere of the plaza, with marimbas and live "Jarocho" music, created a truly authentic experience. The nearby restaurants, El Gran Cafe del Portal and El Gran Cafe de La Parroquia, offered delicious local cuisine. The hotel's attached department store and indoor mall provided convenience and a variety of amenities. I highly recommend Hotel Veracruz Centro Historico for its prime location and wonderful experience.

The location was amazing, overlooking the busy zócalo. The rooftop pool with restaurant and bar service was perfect on hot days. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the bellperson, Nestor, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The comfortable bed, convenient light switches, and great water pressure in the shower were all appreciated. The hotel was centrally located and close to bars and restaurants. The well-preserved installations added to the overall charm of the hotel.
