The breakfast spread at Kempinski was a feast! The assortment of fresh fruits and delightful pastries kicked off my mornings like a charm. Plus, the spacious rooms felt like a cozy cocoon after exploring the city, while the Japanese sushi restaurant delivered some incredible bites—I highly recommend it!

The surrounding area isn’t very exciting. I walked around a bit one morning and noticed a few restaurants and karaoke bars, but nothing that really grabbed my attention. Plus, the drive from the airport to the hotel via traffic-filled streets wasn’t the most thrilling start to my journey, yet it didn’t overshadow the hotel's charm.

My stay at Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace was highlighted by the remarkable staff. From the informative concierge to the friendly lobby barista, they made every step of my journey enjoyable. The spacious room was a cozy retreat, and the spa services were perfect after a day of exploring Ulaanbaatar.

However, the location posed a challenge. While picturesque, it’s a 30-45 minute walk to Sukhbaatar Square, and the traffic can be daunting for taxi rides. Plus, I encountered slow service during breakfast, with items frequently missing or taking too long to restock.

During my stay, I was blown away by the kindness of the staff—especially Taivanaa and Zaya. The room was spacious, well-furnished, and the breakfast was a delightful experience too.

However, the location posed a challenge. While it's not too far from downtown, traffic jams often made travel time unpredictable. Setting the AC was a bit tricky as well.

The staff were incredibly friendly and eager to help, making my stay a relaxing experience after long days of sightseeing.

Though only a short distance from the city center, the traffic made traveling to local attractions quite frustrating, often requiring more time than expected.

Had a great time! The room was huge and comfy, and room service was on point. Our driver was a gem. we ditched a tour to explore with him instead.

But dearie, the lobby looks like it hasn't seen a makeover since disco was in style. And don't get me started on the furniture—it's vintage, but not in a good way!

Comfortable room, excellent breakfast options, especially the delightful pastries served daily and the nearby Hypermarket for convenient shopping.

Everything was fantastic.

i visited ulaanbaatar recently and had such a relaxing holiday at kempinski. the breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a huge selection that was constantly restocked. my favorite part was the friendly and professional staff who made every request easy to handle.

the air conditioning in my room didn't work.
