The hotel was spotless and the staff were attentive and polite. The location was fantastic, with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. The hotel had great transportation access, with tram and bus stops only 100 m away. The view from the junior suite was magnificent, overlooking a beautiful canal.

Location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the city. the staff were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the complimentary breakfast and drinks were a pleasant surprise and added extra value to our stay.

The rooms were a bit chilly, even with the heater on. It would have been nice to have better heating options, especially for a 4-star hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located near popular attractions and public transportation. Guests can easily access museums, the city center, and tram stations.

The location of the hotel was perfect as it allowed us to get around the city easily by tram, and it was near the city centre with loads to see. Unfortunately, our room was on the street side resulting in a lot of noise from the tram, but we enjoyed the view from the big picture windows during the day. The room was well maintained with a comfortable bed and good-sized bathroom. The service was lovely, especially the reception staff, and the breakfast served in splendid art deco surroundings was delightful.

During my recent stay at this venue, I found it to be placed in a great area with everything I needed to visit within easy reach. I also appreciated the excellent service from room service, dry cleaning, and housekeeping. The comfortable room had all the amenities I required, including an ironing board and heating. Plus, the buffet breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed dining in the restaurant. The friendly staff provided a welcome drink on arrival, which was lovely.

I recently stayed at the hotel American in Amsterdam for a few days. The property itself was quirky and comfortable, with unique flower arrangements and interesting art deco decor. The team, particularly Spike the bar manager, were exceptional and made our stay enjoyable. Spike went above and beyond to provide helpful pointers for exploring the city and engaged in informative conversations about Amsterdam and The Netherlands. The hotel also had a Bowie exhibition, as well as memorabilia and photographs throughout the building.
