Grand Hotel exceeded all expectations! From the moment I walked through the grand entrance, I knew I was in for a stylish and relaxing stay. the staff at the check-in and concierge desk were friendly and efficient. the location is perfect, with everything you need right at your doorstep. the rooms were comfortable, with beautiful decor, and the beds ensured a good night's sleep. I also appreciated the historical charm of the hotel. A highlight was the delicious and leisurely breakfast. Travelling in the off-peak season was definitely a bonus.

Tiny bathroom, difficult shower access.

The location is fantastic, with shops, restaurants, and bars nearby. It is also close to main touristic sites and the tour bus area. The hotel has a spa with a wide choice of treatments. The bed was very comfortable and the shower powerful. The staff provided excellent customer service, going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by the luxurious and grand atmosphere of the hotel. The spacious room with tall ceilings made me feel like I was in a palace. I also appreciated the free access to the spa area, which included a swimming pool, sauna, steam sauna, and infrared cabin. Although there were some minor areas that showed signs of age, such as scrapes on the bathroom door, it added to the historical charm of the building.

The hotel's location is perfect, near the city center and right across the street from Spikersuppa, where the Christmas market sets up. We enjoyed exploring the local bars and restaurants nearby. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, as our spacious room was very clean and well-appointed. The hotel facilities were accommodating and excellent, including the spa and pool. Additionally, the staff were wonderful, providing attentive and entertaining service throughout our stay.

We loved the old world charm and style of the hotel, including its Michelin star restaurant. The staff at reception were extremely friendly and helpful, assisting us with calling taxis and providing umbrellas. The concierge was also very attentive. The rooftop spa was a highlight, with a calming swimming pool, sauna, and steam room, all included in our stay. The breakfast buffet offered a brilliant start to the day, with a view of the busy streets and the nearby Palace. It was a real treat to stay in a historic hotel that has hosted notable figures like Obama and the Dali Lama. If it's good enough for them, it was certainly good enough for us.

My partner and I recently had a wonderful romantic escape at a hotel in Oslo. the bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing us to get a peaceful and restful night's sleep. the room was well-furnished and the buffet breakfast offered a wide range of delicious options to choose from. the hotel's location was also perfect, allowing us easy access to explore the beautiful city.

There were a few aspects that could be improved upon. there were some maintenance issues, such as doors that did not close properly, leading to a drafty room and noise from outside.

The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of delicious options to choose from, and the restaurant was top-notch. We loved all the facilities available, like the small pool, sauna and steam bath.

Regrettably, we experienced a small issue with the changing policies in the spa which required an additional fee before being able to change, it should have been communicated in advance to avoid any confusion.
