I recently had a fantastic stay at the Aden Motel in Te Anau. I booked well in advance and got a great deal dollar wise. The studio room was large, tastefully decorated, and had a lovely homely feel. David, the host, was friendly and showed me all the facilities, including the laundry facilities, which was a bonus. The location was perfect with a laneway directly to the lake, allowing for a beautiful 5-minute walk into town. The room had a great heater and the overall value for money was excellent. Highly recommended!

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

As young holiday goers, we loved the helpful locum team who covered for the owners. Linda and Jo were terrific and nothing was too much trouble. They gave us easy restaurant ideas and the Nespresso coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept like logs. The motel was also conveniently located near the lake and town.

Felt special, no reason to complain.

This hotel is great value for money with all the basic amenities provided. The newly renovated bathrooms with high quality towels and excellent showers were a highlight. The updated furnishings in the rooms provided a modern feel unlike some other motels.

Beautiful surroundings, great location for visiting Milford Sound and doing Kepler Track. Walking distance to restaurants, cafes, and cinema. Clean and comfortable room. Nice bathroom and hot showers. Well-equipped kitchen. Friendly staff. Irene, the manageress, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Highly recommended.

Noisy staff in the mornings.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. the units were modern and well-equipped with a kitchen. Allocated parking space was conveniently available. the location was great - only a short walk to shops, walking trails and the lake. Amazing value for money and had a nice BBQ area.

None that I can mention. Everything was great and the staff were a great source of knowledge about the area.

The bedsitting area offers more space than a typical clothes rack, allowing for added comfort and convenience. The room and bathroom are clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering tips and advice on local activities. The continental breakfast includes a variety of options and is filling.

Parking can be tight, especially for certain units.

the clean, fresh room and excellent facilities exceeded our expectations. the location was perfect for exploring the shops, cafes, and beautiful walking track by Lake Te Anau. communication with the warm and welcoming proprietor was excellent. it had everything a family of 4 could need, including a full kitchen and cozy living area. we would stay again if ever in Te Anau.

Uncomfortable pillows.

We recently stayed at a motel in Te Anau and had a great experience. the staff at the reception were very welcoming and even greeted us with a plate of cakes to enjoy with our afternoon tea. They took the time to ask us about our plans and gave us helpful suggestions for things to do and places to visit. Our two bedroom unit was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. It was conveniently located just a short walk from the lake and we were able to easily walk into town. we appreciated the availability of laundry facilities.
