The hot dogs at local joints like Spoon & Paddle and Dixie Brown's are true fire, mate! the room facilities and service here at Alpine Lake Motel are top-notch. Stacey and Darryl run a tight ship! Plus, being a stone's throw from Taupo town is a major win.

Nights could get rowdy due to neighboring guests, but hey, that's just the Taupo vibe, right?

i had a fantastic stay at alpine lake motel. the modern room was spacious, with a comfy bed and a well-equipped kitchenette. the private spa bath was a highlight, and the location was perfect for exploring on foot. the friendly staff and free parking made our visit even more enjoyable. highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

just had a fab stay at a top spot in taupo. alpine motel went above and beyond! sensational rooms, cozy beds, and a killer private patio with a bbq. loved every bit of it!

bedding had something odd.

The value for the money was excellent, with comfortable and clean rooms. The location was convenient, close to the CBD but in a quieter area. The staff treated us with exceptional care and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.

Breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of options.

Loved the spacious and comfortable suites, especially the Superking Spa Studio. The Doughboats were a unique and eco-friendly way to explore Taupo. The centrally located motel made it easy to enjoy all that Lake Taupo has to offer.

Bug lovers rejoice, I found a collection of dead bugs in the bathroom corner. Quite the unexpected roommates.

Our family of five had a great stay at Alpine Lake Motel. The separate bedroom with three single beds was perfect for our children. The spa bath was a lovely treat and the location was quiet and close to the center of town. Stacey and Darrin, the managers, were friendly and helpful, even suggesting a discount holiday pass for an indoor activity due to the weather. Despite not having a dishwasher, the kitchen facilities were fine. we had a great experience at Alpine Lake Motel.

Small spa, cozy for two tall people. Good-sized room, comfy bed. Excellent heat pump. Close to main street, supermarkets. Helpful staff provided dining and activity suggestions. a quiet and convenient location.

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the facilities and the modern setup of the room. the glassware provided was a nice touch and the fridge came in handy. the location was perfect, being within walking distance to cafes and restaurants. It was great to have everything we needed in close proximity.

the water from the tap only ran warm or hot, so we couldn't get cold water easily. the air conditioning unit outside our room was extremely loud and could be heard even with the windows closed.

Loved the complimentary spa bath and heated floors. the location was perfect for exploring the city and had easy access to restaurants and shops. the hosts were helpful and accommodating and the room had ample space for luggage and charging devices.

The lack of ventilation in the bathroom, which caused some moisture buildup. Despite these minor issues, we had a great stay overall and would recommend it to others.
