The location is great, right in town and beside the river. On-site parking is a plus. The beds were nice and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The restaurant and bar offered a pleasant dining experience with a variety of options.

Stayed for 2 nights, exploring the area. Perfectly located with a scenic riverside walk and plenty of takeaways nearby. Comfortable bed, clean room, and a big TV screen. Convenient parking under the room. In-house bar and restaurant with delicious food and drinks. Sit outside on the 2nd-floor balcony. Easy access to Auckland, the airport, and Goat Island. a nice town to stay in.

I had a lovely stay at a cozy lodge with friendly staff and great amenities. The room had a charming slanted roof and beautiful leadlight windows, adding to the unique atmosphere. When I arrived, the room was warm and inviting. The location of the lodge was perfect, and the on-site restaurant served delicious food. The off-street parking provided peace of mind, and the excellent WiFi was a bonus. Although there was no breakfast option, I found a great café nearby that opened early at 7.00am.

Our stay at Bridgehouse Lodge was excellent value for money. The room was clean, comfortable, and had been nicely renovated. The location was picturesque, with a riverside path nearby and easy access to Auckland and Goat Island. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcomed.

Breakfast delights could have been improved by offering larger cups or mugs for tea, along with dishcloths or washing up liquid to clean them. Additionally, it would have been beneficial to have a better seal on the shower door to prevent water from leaking onto the floor.
