Clean, comfortable double room with ensuite. Large, well-equipped communal area and kitchen. Friendly and helpful staff who provided great service. Free breakfast and delicious evening soup. Excellent value for money.

Lovely staff and comfortable rooms at Montrose Backpackers. The owner was so sweet and added rails to our beds when we mentioned there weren't any. They even had free computers for guests to use. I definitely recommend this hostel.

Good location with spacious rooms and large showers. Plenty of parking available and the layout of the building reduces noise. The staff provided a helpful upgrade to a room with an ensuite and fridge, and even gave towels for the hot pools. The room and shared kitchen/dining area were excellent, exceeding expectations.

Clean and modern room with private bathroom. Friendly staff who showed us around and informed us about free soup and breakfast. Good location near local amenities and walking trails. Exceeded expectations with hotel-like comforts at a cheaper price. Highly recommended for travelers.

The location of this place was great, just a short walk to the town center and all the shops and cafes. Another positive aspect was the basic breakfast provided, it was convenient to have some bread, spreads, and cereals available in the morning. Additionally, the staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries.

The facilities were quite old and worn out. the kitchen, rooms, and corridors definitely need some renovation.

The staff was welcoming and helpful, showing us around and ensuring our comfort. The room was clean and the bathroom was excellent, with hot water in the shower. The beds were made and clean towels were provided, even though we had to leave early. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, no waiting required. The breakfast was basic, but we could make our own. a quiet and enjoyable stay.
