We had a great stay at River Motels & Holiday Park in Haast. the room was spacious and had plenty of room for our family. the kids loved the playground and trampoline, and there were also indoor toys and a pool table. the facilities were overall quite good, and we enjoyed seeing the nearby farm animals, including sheep and fluffy chickens. the location was excellent, just a few minutes' drive from the ocean and close to unspoiled bush.

The location was also great, as it broke up our long drive from the west coast to Queenstown. The staff was accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our rooms were close together. We got great value for our money with a clean and comfortable room that had a fantastic view. The staff at the motel were friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated the added touch of the chickens greeting us.

We also enjoyed the discount voucher for a local tavern. the location was decent, close to some lovely scenery.

Terrible WiFi and no snacks available after office hours. the weather was bad and Haast seemed quite isolated.

Quiet location with insect screens on latch windows. Promptly replaced light bulb. Separate recycling and waste bins in the kitchen. Easy check-in with map and key left for late arrival. Spacious room with effective heater. Walking distance to DoC Visitor Centre and Heartland Hotel.

The motel had a great mountain view, spacious family rooms for 5 persons, and modern showers with good water pressure. The receptionist was enthusiastic and the property accommodated campervans with ample parking. Laundry facilities and a games room were available on-site. The property was also well-maintained, with clean rooms, fresh linen, and fluffy towels.

Felt like a home away from home, with no complaints whatsoever.

The location of this motel is great, with lush green surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere. the kids really enjoyed watching the horses from the balcony while having their meals. there is a fantastic tourist visitor centre within a short walking distance, which also acts as a museum.

The restaurants and supermarket in the vicinity had very little choices, which was underwhelming. We wouldn't choose to stay here again unless we had a really good reason to do so.

We had an amazing stay here. The location was perfect, close to a nice restaurant and town. The room was clean, spacious and comfy with a warm shower and great kitchen facilities. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

The accommodation offered plenty of space with a communal lounge, perfect for relaxing during the winter season. The tent sites were great, with clean toilets and bathrooms. The kitchen, although a bit small during peak season, was convenient for cooking.

Loved the water pressure in the shower, felt like a deep tissue massage. Great parking space and even received a discount voucher for a meal and drinks at a local tavern.
