The room was stunning with incredible views, but breakfast was pretty average and the coffee situation was just ridiculous. Staff were lovely though!

Brekkie was awesome, so much lekker food to choose from! The outdoor activities were wild fun—got to hike a bit and the views are просто stunning! Also, massive shoutout to the friendly staff, they went out of their way to make us feel right at home.

Room was a bit basic, could’ve used some more touches to make it special.

Gotta say, the reception team was super nice and even upgraded us to a lake view room! ! The bathroom had heated floors which was like a godsend in the cold—felt like luxury, you know?

The King Room Plus was spacious with high-quality amenities, including bathrobes and slippers. Appreciated having the option for free parking nearby. The spa and gym facilities were enjoyable, although the dining experience left much to be desired, with cold and flavorless meals disappointing our expectations.

Just a suitable option for a fleeting pause in Taupo with very good value for money. The outdoor bistro set inside my room was a nice touch and made it feel a bit more welcoming. Consider asking for a room with a lake view from the start to avoid any surprises.

The corner room in the heritage wing featured a wrap-around balcony with stunning lake views, providing a charming atmosphere. The attentive staff made the stay even more enjoyable, and the breakfast offered hot waffles, a delightful addition. However, the proximity to the kitchen resulted in some cooking smells in the evening, which detracted slightly from the experience. Additionally, parking was sometimes a hassle, as spots closer to the entrance were not always available.

We had a nice stay! Room was spacious, and the views of the lake from the balcony were just stunning. The staff was super accommodating, especially when we needed extra pillows. Dinner at the bistro was a highlight—delicious menu! Just wish the parking was clearer. it was confusing at first with the price. Overall, solid experience!

the views of the lake were super gorgeous, especially from the room. the pool was really nice too, perfect for chillin after a long day. breakfast was yum, lots of options and friendly staff made it great. the apartment we moved to had plenty of space and it was worth the extra cost. also the service by the staff was really helpful, especially when we needed a wheelchair for an injury.
