Despite being a bit musty upon arrival, my cabin at Pohara Beach Holiday Park was comfortable and well-priced. The beachfront location was absolutely magical. I was delighted by the friendly and helpful gentleman at reception and the housekeeper who bid us farewell. I highly recommend this holiday park.

The location of this holiday park is perfect, with shops in Takaka just a short drive away. The beach is right at your doorstep, allowing for easy access and beautiful views. The cabin was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities, including a hairdryer and ironing board.

There was only one power point in the cabin, making it difficult for both my husband and I to charge our phones at night.

Beautiful location near a quiet village with access to a golf course and a stunning walk along the sea. the kitchen was clean and had decent supplies for self-catering.

Dirty and over-crowded bathrooms, stained and dirty sheets, and loud campers near the cabins made for an unpleasant stay. Paid hot water in the shower was an unwelcome surprise, especially since reception was closed in the evenings, meaning no shower at night without coins.
