convenient location by the beach, well-maintained kitchenette, adequate shower pressure

A little noise from the street was bothersome!!! Having to search for street parking was frustrating!!! The layout of the room was odd, with the shower located in a wardrobe-like space that felt cramped!!!

My stay was decent for the price point I paid. I arrived during a busy holiday time and found the amenities in the kitchenette useful. However, it was a bit loud as I could hear people talking in the next room. Parking was hard to find, and I had to compete with pub-goers for a spot. I appreciated the comfortable bed and decent shower as a single traveler. Looking into local history while enjoying my meals was a nice touch.

this place is super close to the beach and shops! the food in the restaurant is really good, like surprisingly delicious for a pub. breakfasts right outside was a major win too. also, the staff were super friendly and gave us this warm vibe. and i can't forget about the comfy beds, definitely slept like a baby!

but the parking was a bit annoying to find and the room got really hot with no air conditioning, which was a bummer.

Parking was also somewhat limited, which could be a hassle during busy times. Overall, a solid choice for a short visit.

Cracking wee place right in the heart of town! The king salmon I had for dinner was pure excellent, and the staff were friendly. Only downside was the heat—had to deal with a stinking hot room with no air conditioning. Will definitely be back!

Friendly staff and excellent seafood chowder.

My stay was marred by parking difficulties since most of the spots were taken. I also found the room quite cramped with barely any space to move around or store my luggage. The shower kept giving me cold water intermittently, which was quite frustrating during my stay.

The room was a stinker, heaps hot with no aircon. On the plus side, the location is choice, just a stroll to the beach and shops.

It is a charming hotel with a cozy atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff, and excellent seafood chowder at the on-site restaurant!

We stayed for 6 nights and loved being right in the heart of town. Breakfast options right outside were a huge win. The seafood chowder totally blew my mind, and the cozy lounge area made it even better. Just wish the Wi-Fi was more reliable—it was a bit spotty during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay with our child, especially the close proximity to the beach. The Heritage Walkway was a fun stroll, offering a glimpse into the local history. It was a treat to have air conditioning during the hot days.

My wife says that the kitchen fan noise was bothersome.

had a great stay at stumpers! super close to the beach and lots of cool shops. the staff were really nice and helped us with everything we needed. room was clean and pretty modern, i liked that. our meals at the bar were delish, especially the lamb backstrap!

We had a little romantic escape after checking in. the staff at reception were super friendly, making us feel right at home. The room was just gorgeous and had this modern vibe – I loved the heat pump since it was a scorching day and we really enjoyed our sleep in that comfy bed! !
