We had a great stay at Park Hotel Ruapehu. the staff at the reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. the ringawera at the restaurant even adjusted some menu items to be vegan for us, which was a thoughtful gesture. the hotel itself is well-run, with efficient and attentive staff. the dinners were reasonably priced and delicious, and the location was central and convenient for exploring Tongariro National Park.

The location was unreal, right next to this sick river where we saw trout darting around. It was so clear, we could legit see them swimming past our feet. Plus, we had the freedom to explore the dopest adventures in New Zealand's oldest National Park. We even took this gnarly glass gondola, the Whakapapa Sky Waka, and got 360-degree views of the ski fields, waterfalls, and ancient lava flows. And yo, when we went on this walk through ancient lava flows and saw stunning waterfalls, we legit felt like we were in another world. We even found these natural rocky trolls, like straight out of a fantasy flick. The location of this place was key too, right in the middle of all the major cities in the North Island. We couldn't ask for a better spot to max out on events and team activities, bro!

The only thing we wished for is a lit party scene at The Park Hotel Ruapehu. Like, don't get us wrong, the activities and location were sick, but we're young and party-going peeps, you feel me?

The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a private hot tub. The on-site bar and restaurant had great food. The shuttle service to the alpine crossing was organized perfectly. The mezzanine was comfortable for quality sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful. The layout was easy to navigate with quick access from the car park. The room service was awesome with fast towel and cloth replenishment. Megan and Sam added so much delight to our stay. The bed and heater blanket fought the cold weather. Will definitely choose this place again in the future.

We enjoyed dining in or heading next door to the pub for some mini golf or pool. Our room was the perfect size for our two-night stay, and the food at the hotel was divine. the wait staff were wonderful, adding to the overall experience. Despite a couple of minor issues, we loved this place and would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this budget-friendly hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with details about the weather for our Tongariro track hike. The rooms were clean and well-organized, with a comfortable bed and a small but functional bathroom. The bar and restaurant were fantastic, offering delicious food. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot and clean spa pools. The location was perfect, as it was close to the ski area and local attractions in Ruapehu National Park.

The wifi was very slow and almost useless.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel! The cleanliness of the room was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were great. We were able to park easily and the hotel's location to the National Park was perfect for our plans to hike the Tongariro Crossing. We also loved that there were other restaurants within walking distance and a convenient gas station down the street. The views of the mountains were breathtaking, adding to the overall charm of our stay. The breakfast provided was delicious and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Shower door layout was awkward.

Park Hotel Ruapehu was perfect. the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Sammy the barman and the up front staff. the room was comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. the freshly painted walls were a nice touch. the dining room with the big fire was warm and cozy, and the breakfast omelette cooked by the breakfast cook was delicious. the location of the hotel is ideal, with plenty of walking tracks nearby. We can't wait to come back in the summer!

This hotel offers great value for money and is a perfect base for exploring the Ruapehu area. The rooms are well equipped with heating, basic amenities, and some even offer stunning views of the area. The staff are helpful and friendly, while the breakfast, included in the rate, offers a variety of food to choose from, including brilliant coffee.
