grand hyatt muscat surpassed my expectations during my valentine's day stay in muscat. the superb property and friendly staff made me feel well taken care of. the concierge arif went above and beyond to ensure our excursions were seamless. the captains lounge deal was a great value, offering unlimited drinks and delicious meals. the spacious room and beautiful presentation added to the overall experience.

The hotel's executive club was a standout with great drinks and food, and a lovely terrace. The pool area has stunning views and great sunsets. I would recommend this hotel.

For the price we paid, we got great value! The spacious room had a nice sea view and comfy amenities like a Nespresso machine and soft pillows. The staff were friendly, respectful, and always practiced safe distancing.

Felt totally at home, nothing was too much trouble.

Spacious rooms with comfortable bedding and a choice of pillows. Staff members, especially Jennalin, were always friendly and eager to assist. Excellent location near the beach. Convenient club package that includes drinks and meals. Good housekeeping service with frequent towel and rubbish removal.

Comfortable room, great service, and excellent amenities. The pool is enjoyable and the staff are friendly. The hotel could benefit from some refurbishment, but overall a pleasant stay.

I loved the helpful staff, the excellent food in the Italian Restaurant and the Roof Grill Restaurant, and the very useful and helpful Concierge. The gym was great and I had an excellent massage. The Grand Club Lounge had wonderful staff taking care of me, and the breakfast and evening cocktails and canapes were very good. The atmosphere of the hotel was lovely, with beautiful traditional Arabic features on the buildings. My room was comfortable with a balcony overlooking the pool and sea. The location was perfect, not too noisy. The Club lounge facilities and food were excellent, as were the all day dining and the safari grill. The Grill set menu with drinks deal was particularly good and the food and atmosphere were really great.

As women traveling alone, we felt safe and well taken care of at this expansive property. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, making our stay even more enjoyable. The beach access was clean and well maintained, providing a relaxing and serene environment. The facilities were just right, not overdone, and met all our requirements.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Loved the gym with its fancy equipment and exercise classes. Shopping nearby, in case I need to buy more unnecessary stuff. The beach has jogging paths, perfect for pretending I'm a fitness enthusiast. The traditional Omani hospitality made me feel like a princess, or at least a duchess.

Oh, just small things like the hotel looking tired in some areas. But hey, who needs good wifi or early food and drink service when you have such majestic surroundings?

The waitresses for breakfast were extremely friendly and nice, and the staff always had a smile and greeted you. The interior of the hotel was amazing, with an Arab style and great views of the ocean and the city. The rooms were well-appointed, and the restaurants served amazing food. It was a very well-located hotel for visiting the city, and we enjoyed fabulous sunsets from the beach behind the property.

I recently stayed at Grand Hyatt in Muscat for a few days. The hotel staff were extremely attentive and helpful, from the concierge to the reception, cleaning, and pool staff. The location of the hotel is in a protected diplomatic area, with a wide beach right in front. The weather during my stay was reliable and the locals, who speak and write English fluently, were very friendly. There were also very good and reasonably priced local restaurants and a walkable supermarket nearby. Lastly, the Armed Forces Museum was a fascinating visit to learn about the history of Oman.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.

What an amazing Christmas experience! The staff was so friendly and accommodating, offering us complimentary drinks upon arrival and festive treats during our stay. The location was perfect, with stunning views and easy access to local restaurants. The pool and spa were also a highlight, providing a great place to relax and unwind after a busy day of sightseeing.

The room could have been better maintained, with limited toiletries and room service staff being overly persistent in checking the mini-bar. we were disappointed that breakfast was not included and that the bed was not very comfortable.
