My partner and I recently stayed at Hotel Do Colegio for 7 nights in a beautiful and classy room. The preserved historical architecture added to the charm. The hotel's location was great for exploring, with easy access to taxis and drivers. Although the street was narrow and unsafe for walking, the hotel's fantastic service made up for it. We enjoyed the top-notch restaurant food, especially the amazing panacotta. Breakfast was also good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. a great place to stay, albeit slightly expensive. Must-try restaurants nearby are Tasca and Suplexio.

The ensuite room was spacious and well designed, with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom featuring a bath and shower. The entire room and bathroom were very clean. We requested a quiet room and late checkout, and the staff happily accommodated our requests. The hotel itself is lovely and the staff are extremely helpful, going the extra mile to assist guests. We had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend the hotel, especially if you are staying in Ponta Delgada or need a hotel close to the airport.

We loved this place as it was in a great location right in the heart of things. We were just up the street from the town center and close to a beautiful church. The service was fantastic too, with room service and car hire available. The room itself was spacious and packed with amenities including air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a mini-bar.
