Despite the lack of privacy in the room, the one-way-view glass provided a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. Carlos, our host, was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. His recommendations on where to go and what to eat were spot on! We even received a glass of port wine as a welcome gift along with a short introduction to the city. we had a memorable experience and would highly recommend staying at Linha 22.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, right in the center of the city and close to the train station São Bento and the restaurant/bar district down to Ribeira. The view from my room was breathtaking, with a clear sight of the Sé Catedral and the Douro river. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch and the facilities were modern and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of tasty options.

During my recent trip, my friends and I stayed at a centrally located hotel that provided easy access to all the main attractions. Being close to the Sao Bento train station was a huge advantage, allowing us to explore the city with convenience. Our cozy room overlooked the lively street below, and we loved starting our mornings at the cafe located right outside the hotel. The friendly staff was always on hand to provide helpful information about the city and even offered tastings of local wines.

One minor downside was the occasional noise from the street, but the hotel is in the process of installing new double glazed windows to minimize this inconvenience.

The rooms are creatively designed in a tall, narrow building, which adds to its unique charm. The staff is exceptionally helpful and responsive to emails. It's great that they offer late check-in and baggage storage services.

We had a fantastic stay at this bed and breakfast in the heart of the historic center. the location was perfect, within walking distance of major sites like the Clerigos Tower and Sao Bento Station. There were also convenient bus routes nearby. Our room was comfortable and cleaned daily by the friendly staff. the bed was large and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing in the room and watching cable TV, which had a few English channels. the view from our balcony was beautiful, overlooking the city.

We loved the cozy atmosphere of this small hotel, with its comfortable beds and the sound of rain and seagulls above our heads. The English-speaking staff were incredibly lovely, welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. The key provided for backdoor access when the cafe is closed was a convenient touch. And the fact that there is a great breakfast place right across the street and up the hill was a bonus.

Felt so at home during our stay that we couldn't find a single thing to complain about.
