We recently stayed at a 4-star hotel here and had a fantastic experience. The location of this place is just perfect – it's built on a hill, overlooking the city below, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. We loved waking up to the panoramic views every morning. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we had all the amenities we needed, including a mini-bar, air conditioning, and a balcony. The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel also had great facilities, including a fitness studio, indoor swimming pool, and a spa and wellness center. this hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services that made our stay memorable.

The check-in staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel at ease from the start. The lobby was beautifully decorated, with vibrant colors that created a cheerful atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, and the beds provided a good night's sleep. We were also treated to a breathtaking view of the surrounding area, which was a pleasant surprise.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay. The constant background noise in the room from the ventilation/heating system was quite annoying, even with the A/C turned off.

The presidential suite was stunning with contemporary furniture, a nice balcony, and a huge jacuzzi. The hotel staff was professional, kind, and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with excellent views. The attention to detail, such as offering bottles of water for the trip back, showed the hotel's care. The local wine served in the lounge bar was a nice touch.

The breakfast selection at Melia was fantastic, with a wide variety of fruits and breads to choose from. The bed in our room was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The view from the room was also stunning, overlooking the city and its surroundings. The hotel had good parking facilities and a nice pool, perfect for relaxation. The ventilation in the room worked well, and the bathroom had all the necessary amenities. The restaurant was run by a polite lady, and both the buffet and à la carte options were great. our stay at Melia Castelo Branco was enjoyable and we would recommend it to others.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I really liked the recently renovated rooms. They were clean, comfortable, and had a quiet atmosphere. The view from the hotel was also a standout feature, with breathtaking landscapes to admire. Plus, I was delighted to find Rituals shampoo and shower gel provided in the rooms.

There were a few aspects that I didn't appreciate during my stay. the seating arrangement in the breakfast room was poorly thought out, as there were not enough two-seater tables.
