the golf course is very chllenging, adding excitement to our stay. some outdoor furniture on the patio needs updating.

we had an amazing stay at royal. the villas were extremely clean and the staff were excellent and responsive. we loved the beautiful nature view from our casita with the private pool. the two separate pools and peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect romantic getaway.

i would have liked more options at the restaurant, as it was quite limited.

I had a wonderful stay at Royal Isabela. The casita I occupied was spacious and exquisitely designed, featuring a private plunge pool that offered breathtaking views of the ocean. The restaurant served delightful Puerto Rican cuisine, and the staff were immensely attentive, making my experience feel special. I particularly enjoyed exploring the grounds, which included scenic hiking trails and a lovely golf course that enhanced the natural beauty of the area.

during my stay, I was amazed by the breathtaking ocean views and the serene atmosphere that made our time unforgettable, with the nearby Playa El Pastillo just a short walk away and the beautiful Mirador de Guajataca only a bit further, perfect for scenic strolls and enjoying nature.

The casitas here are truly world class, making for a perfect romantic escape, and the golf course offers some stunningly picturesque holes. The property maintains a quiet and intimate atmosphere, hosting only 20 casitas, which adds to its charm.

However, there were notable issues that can't be ignored. The restaurant lacked variety, with food often overcooked and a slow service that made breakfast a gamble. once they even forgot half of our order. Additionally, the beach is quite a hike down 125 steps without much upkeep, leaving a lot to be desired in terms of amenities—you won't find any sun-beds to enjoy the breathtaking views. For a place charging premium rates, the experience fell short with disappointing details like the limited mini bar offerings and the noise from golf carts disrupting the tranquility of the area. Frankly, it didn't live up to the expectations set by its stunning backdrop.

The E-bike Trek experience with guide Jorge was thrilling. we explored beautiful landscapes and enjoyed a picnic by the river afterward.

Nothing it is perfect

It was just an optimal selection for a short staycation in Isabela with decent value for money. The private pool in my casita was perfect for relaxing late at night, especially with a glass of champagne. If you like romantic getaways, definitely catch the sunset from your patio.
