During our Christmas stay, we absolutely loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere. the staff treated us like family from the moment we arrived. the conversations with other guests and the family were a highlight, providing insights on a wide range of topics. the guided and unguided walks on the property were a great way to explore, and the exhibits in the museum and reading room were informative and interesting.

While the meals had their moments of tastiness, there were some inconsistencies in quality considering the pricing. We also experienced issues with room preparation, such as animal noises and malfunctioning air conditioning in one of the rooms.

We were completely captivated by the extraordinary tours and tour guides at the guest house. The stories made us feel like we were right there with the fighters. The staff were the friendliest we've ever encountered. The farmhouse we stayed in had stunning views and a lovely deck. The beds and pillows were comfortable for a good night's sleep. The breakfast was hearty and delicious, and the staff made us feel like part of the family.

It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

my recent stay at a lovely guest house in Rorke's Drift was incredible. Fugitives Drift exceeded all expectations. Friendly staff, fascinating battlefield tours, and luxurious accommodation made for an unforgettable experience. The family-like atmosphere and communal dining added a personal touch that made us feel welcome and connected to other guests.

As young holiday goers, we loved the communal dining and meeting new people right away. The Rorke's Drift and Isandlwana tours were thought-provoking with fantastic guides. The upgrade to the main lodge was a great start.

Felt completely relaxed, no reason to complain.
