Lovely staff, accommodating, great breakfast, convenient location, beautifully decorated rooms.

The uniqueness of the hotel caught my attention from the moment I walked in. The combination of Old World charm and modern convenience created a truly captivating atmosphere. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the restaurant were all absolutely amazing. The staff, especially Mr Kelly, went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience. Despite not being the property manager, he displayed professionalism, courtesy, and exceptional problem-solving skills.

One drawback I experienced was a smell in the hallway due to a leak in the room next to mine. However, the staff worked diligently to dissipate the odor with the help of a fan.

For the price, we got great value and our room had plenty of character and space. The location was perfect, close to the waterfront and Zeitz Museum, yet tucked away in a quiet spot. The hotel staff treated us like VIPs, friendly and efficient.

The food for breakfast could have been improved with a wider variety of options available.

We recently stayed at Old Foundry for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. From the warm and helpful staff to the beautifully styled rooms, everything was top-notch. The location was perfect, with the V&A waterfront just a short walk away and easy access to other attractions. The size of the room was impressive, providing ample space and comfort. Moreover, the staff went above and beyond, offering us a late check out room when my husband and I fell ill. Big thanks to the team for their excellent service!

The room I stayed in was neat and clean, providing a comfortable and pleasant environment. the hotel's location was convenient, situated close to the V&A Waterfront and offering easy access to various attractions and amenities.

There were a few negative aspects to my stay. there was a slight issue with the room, as it had a strange smell.

The suite at Old Foundry Hotel was absolutely stunning. The beautiful design and attention to detail made me feel like I was staying in a luxurious oasis. The beds were ultra comfy, and the duvets provided the perfect amount of warmth. I also loved having a full-size refrigerator and freezer in the suite, as well as the convenience of a washing machine. The barista made the best cuppocino I've had in years, and the bacon at breakfast was absolutely delicious. I felt right at home during my stay.

While the suite was fabulous, there was limited space in the room and it didn't feel very bright. Additionally, there was a power failure upon arrival, which unfortunately meant waiting a few hours without electricity.

The interiors were lovely, and the bed was great. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from Greenpoint and Waterfront. The gym facilities were decent, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious, especially the Bacon and Egg bagel. The staff members were attentive and made my stay wonderful. Despite a rocky start with the initial staff, the closing staff went above and beyond to make my stay much better. The bed was wonderfully soft, and the breakfast options were absolutely delicious. Plus, the hotel's location was incredibly convenient, being just a stone's throw away from the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and central Cape Town.
