This hotel is situated right in the center of town, making it extremely convenient for exploring the area. I also loved the fact that there was parking right at the front door, making it easy to unload our belongings. The staff here were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service, making us feel right at home. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious, with all the modern amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden area was a lovely place to relax, and the swimming pool was a great bonus for cooling off on hot days. The breakfast served here was absolutely delicious, with a range of options to choose from.

I would highly recommend this hotel to friends.

The perfect Xmas getaway! Set in the tranquil plains, amidst the mountains, we were surprised by the vintage style of this hidden gem. Although far from sightseeing attractions, a few miles away we found a quaint village with lovely galleries, cafes and artisanal shops. The warmth of the host was refreshing and the homemade breakfast was simply divine! The pool area added to the charm, with its beautiful garden and comfortable chairs. This place was definitely a find and we loved the quietness of our room.

We found it a bit difficult to access the main road due to a lack of guidance. there weren't many options for lunch or dinner nearby, so we had to do our own research in advance.

The spacious and clean accommodation allowed us to relax and unwind, whether by the pool, in the lounge, or on the front patio. The central location meant we could easily explore the town, with plenty of eating and coffee options within walking distance. The breakfasts in the beautiful garden were a delightful treat, surrounded by vibrant bird life. The kindness and assistance of the hosts, particularly when we encountered car trouble, left a lasting impression. Onse Rus Guesthouse is truly a gem in Prince Albert, and we have no hesitation in recommending it for a memorable stay. we highly recommend this welcoming oasis in the heart of the Karoo.
