The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel had its own generator, so load shedding was not an issue. The hotel also had great amenities, such as a bar/lounge area, restaurant, and a fitness centre. The outdoor swimming pool was a definite highlight, and I loved soaking up the sun on the sun loungers. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities, including a flat-screen TV, microwave, and electric kettle. The hotel also offered convenient services such as luggage storage, 24-hour reception, and express check-in/out. my stay at this hotel exceeded my expectations and provided exceptional value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay.

This hotel is located in a great area in Sea Point, with easy access to many shops and a calming environment. The staff is friendly and attentive, offering great service and even opening our suitcases. The rooms have proper bathrooms, and the breakfast is definitely a highlight, with an omelette station for cooked-to-order eggs.

Everything is what I need and want.

The location of Protea Hotel was fantastic, close to the beach and many shops and restaurants. The shower in our room was very nice and had a rain-type shower head. Although there were no washcloths provided, we had plenty of towels. we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

Great Easter experience! the hotel offered complimentary Easter eggs and hot cross buns which was a lovely touch. the location is perfect, a short walk to the beach and close to the hop on hop off bus stop. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the Atlantic ocean each evening. Our room had a beautiful view of the beach from the balcony.

The rooms were quite small and the bathroom could have been cleaner. the walls were thin, so we could hear our neighbors coming and going.
