The room I stayed in was large, well-equipped, and clean. I really appreciated the safe for my valuables and the tea/coffee-making facilities. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of options, both freshly made and already prepared. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and always available when I needed assistance. I also loved the convenient location, with a nearby mall and a short drive to the airport. I had a great stay and would recommend Holiday Inn - Johannesburg Sunnyside Park, An Ihg Hotel to others.

A Hidden Gem with Excellent Service

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, with spotless rooms and common areas. The hotel facilities were fantastic, with a convenient parking area and a lovely deck for morning meetings over coffee. The location was great, situated in a somewhat suburb area but still close to WITS university. The staff were exceptional, with the receptionist Millian going out of her way to make me feel welcome, and the waiter Nkosi being very attentive and helpful in the restaurant.

I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room I was given at Sunnyside Park Hotel. The extra room made my stay even more comfortable. The hotel's proximity to the shopping complexes in Johannesburg was a major plus for me.

Even though there were some minor issues with my room, such as the temperature being too cold and a delay in receiving extra blankets and a heater, the overall security and positive perceptions of the hotel were reassuring.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn - Johannesburg Sunnyside Park for a business trip and it was a fantastic experience. The room was spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast, which was out of this world. The staff, including Chef Willy and Chef Benny, went above and beyond to provide delicious meals, even with a limited dinner menu. Nkosinathi and Vice were the best restaurant hosts, offering exceptional service and even convenient room service. The staff, in general, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my stay truly enjoyable.

We loved the hotel's convenient location near WITS, surrounded by malls, and in close proximity to the Nelson Mandela Children's Hospital, University of Witwatersrand, and Charlotte Maxeke Hospital. The ample parking space was a huge plus for us as well. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a well-equipped exercise room and a beautiful deck where we enjoyed our morning meetings over coffee. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel safe and well taken care of during our stay. Plus, breakfast was delicious and satisfying, adding to the overall value of our experience.

I loved the hotel's atmosphere and its interesting history. The rooms at the front had a great view of the well-maintained grounds. The hotel staff was attentive and helpful, especially Jackson the waiter. The location was convenient for our meeting and our visit to the nearby church.
