We stayed at Alcazar for one night on our way to Hendaye. The staff were lovely and helpful and our room was newly decorated with twin beds and a sitting area by French doors onto a large balcony. The character of the hotel was evident in the panelling, linen bedcovers, and old cupboards. The breakfast was great, with Spanish treats to try, and dog owners could eat indoors in the bar area. The location was convenient, close to shops and eateries, making it an interesting stop.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! the location was perfect - right in the centre of Irun, making it easy for me to explore the city. Secondly, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that I felt welcomed throughout my stay. Lastly, the rooms were lovely and spacious, with a wonderful view of the outside trees from the large balcony. The breakfast, which was included in my rate, was also a highlight with multiple options and delicious Spanish treats to try.

The location of this hotel is fantastic! It is conveniently close to the motorway, making it a great choice for anyone traveling between France and Spain. It is also located near the French border town of Hendaye, where you can easily catch trains to explore the beautiful Basque Country. the hotel is situated right on the boardwalk, providing stunning views of the French shore.

Had a decent Christmas break at a hotel. Staff was friendly and gave complimentary wine bottle and chocolates in the room, which was a lovely touch. the location was perfect, a 5-minute walk from the town centre and plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. the breakfast spread had all you could need during Christmas, and the hotel had a cozy feel to it.

The noise levels were high throughout the stay, with the sound of construction nearby never ending. the bed was uncomfortable as it sagged in the middle.

The breakfast at Alcazar was delicious with a wide range of choices. I especially enjoyed the option of dining on the terrace. The hotel's central location made it easy for me to explore the area. The staff were always available, spoke good English, and provided helpful assistance. The hotel itself had a beautiful and modern take on traditional charm. I would highly recommend this property.

The hotel also has a lift, bar, and free and secure parking within its grounds.

We had a wonderful stay at Alcazar hotel. the hotel itself had so much character, from the quirky elevator to the charming wood panelled walls and original furniture. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice big bathroom and a great shower. the breakfast offered a good selection of foods and was very enjoyable. the staff, especially the friendly receptionist, were all fantastic and went out of their way to assist us. They even helped us find dog-friendly restaurants, which was a great bonus.

The bathroom was clean and the shower over the bath was refreshing. The hotel's attention to detail, such as soundproofed doors and double carpets in the passages, ensured a comfortable stay. The hotel's decor, with lovely prints and decorative items, added to the atmosphere. The central stairs and lift were beautifully polished, and the continental breakfast in the sun-filled room was plentiful.
