The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Alberto Holgueras. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. the room he upgraded us to was spacious, comfortable, and had a divine shower and toilet. the location of the hotel was also superb, with great French doors that opened to a lively street. It was the perfect spot to experience the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

The noise level during the night. There was constant noise from the kitchen/bar, other guests, and the street, making it difficult to sleep.

The hotel is located in a very nice area, about a 15-minute walk from the royal palace. It is very central, making it easy to explore the city center of Madrid. The rooms are clean and modern, with a very stylish and funky design. The staff is very polite and provides excellent service. There are many restaurants of different varieties close by, offering plenty of options for dining.

The room facing the main street can be a bit noisy.

I recently stayed at Axel Hotel in Madrid for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The location couldn't have been better - it was close to all the main attractions, entertainment venues, and museums. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, even providing extra milk packages for my coffee and opening the roof bar just for me. The heated swimming pool and rooftop were definitely the highlights, especially during the quiet winter season. The rooms were clean and elegant, with a comfortable bed and a wide range of TV channels.

The room was on the smaller side and felt a bit cramped. the design of the bathroom, with a transparent shower division, lacked privacy and could be uncomfortable for some guests.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and clean, with plenty of natural light. The rooftop terrace and swimming pool were perfect for enjoying the sunny days in the city. The location was ideal, close to shops, restaurants, and bars. The front desk staff, especially David, were incredibly helpful and gave me great tips for exploring the area. I had a fantastic experience at this hotel.
