The hotel had incredibly helpful staff who went above and beyond to assist me during my stay. They even helped arrange transportation from the airport, which was a huge relief. the breakfast served was delicious and satisfying, with fresh and filling options available. It was a great way to start the day. The hotel also provided beach towels, allowing me to conveniently spend the day at the beach without having to worry about bringing my own.

One thing that I found disappointing was the exorbitant cost of their laundry service. I had two loads of laundry washed, and it ended up costing me $70.00!

our honeymoon at this hotel was a dream come true - the glasswork, art deco charm, and stunning sea views made it unforgettable. The room was tasteful, clean, and comfortable, with helpful reception staff. We loved the serene atmosphere, fresh breakfast, and nearby Spanish restaurant. We're already planning our return!

Tricky door lock system

I had an amazing stay at a hotel located just a short distance from Playa La Maleta. The convenient transportation options made it easy to get to the hotel from the airport. The nearby bus stop provided easy access to Playa Malagueta and other attractions along Paseo del Parque. The architecture and decor of the property were stunning, even better than what I had seen in pictures. The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and friendly, always willing to help with anything I needed. The breakfast served at the hotel was sophisticated and delicious, with table service and generous portions. The location was perfect, with a nice Japanese restaurant right across the street and a pizza/pasta place a short walk away. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, such as slow and unsecured wifi and the air conditioning placement in the room, I had a fantastic experience overall. I will definitely be returning to this hotel on my next trip to Malaga. Thank you to the wonderful team at the hotel for their great job - they truly deserve an additional star!

our second stay in malaga was even better than the first! california exceeded our expectations with their attention to detail, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and comfortable rooms. the rooftop terrace was a highlight, offering a stunning view of the sea and a relaxing spot to unwind. we will definitely be back!

Lack of pool.

During our weekend stay in Marbella, we decided to spend one night in Malaga to explore the city before heading home. The hotel we chose, California, was a beautiful and quirky establishment that left a lasting impression. The exceptional service and cleanliness of our room made for a comfortable stay. The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions. We were impressed and will definitely return for a longer stay in the future.

The rooftop terrace was a highlight, offering stunning views of the sea and the perfect spot to watch the sunset. While the hotel had undergone some renovations, it still had a few areas that could use some updating. The elevator was quite old and small, which could be a bit inconvenient at times.

The hotel had a great location, just a few minutes' walk to the beach and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, and the highlight was definitely the amazing roof terrace with stunning views of the Mediterranean. I would highly recommend this hotel for a budget stay with a cozy atmosphere and a fantastic location.

The location of the hotel was perfect, close to the beach and within walking distance of the city center. I loved being able to easily explore the museums and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the city, but also retreat to a quiet location at the end of the day. The only downside I could think of is the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. It would have been nice to have the option to make a hot drink in the comfort of my own room.

Great spot for a 3-day break with beach, city life, and culture. If you're a light sleeper, the hotel offers a peaceful environment.

The check-in process was a bit slow, but the staff made up for it with their helpfulness and willingness to accommodate our needs. The only other minor issue was the noisy air conditioning and difficulty in adjusting the temperature.
