great location, stunning views over Cadaques, short walk to Port Lligat, chilled bars in town, coastal walk to Cap de Creus, hired kayaks.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, even offering a free shuttle service to the bus station. The location of the hotel was perfect, slightly outside the main tourist area but still within a short walk to the sea and the center of town. The views from the balcony were absolutely stunning, with a beautiful view of the pool and the surrounding mountains. The hotel facilities, including the pool and the restaurant, were top-notch. The staff even catered to vegans with a delicious menu.

There was nothing I didn't like.

We had a fantastic stay at Carpe Diem. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The available parking was a great bonus, as we know it can be difficult to find parking in the town. We didn't mind the steep uphill walk back to our apartment, as it was a good way to get some exercise. The outside space provided by the balcony was a wonderful addition, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful views. The value for money was excellent, and we are already planning to return next year for a longer stay.
