We had a pleasant stay at this centrally located boutique hotel. The staff was helpful and the room was nicely decorated. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The hotel's location was fabulous, allowing us to explore the charming city by foot. The staff also provided useful navigation guidance and a discount for nearby public parking. it was a reasonably priced option for our stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse. The modern interior and attractive decoration made a great impression. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff, especially Kala, were extremely helpful, speaking multiple languages. The location of the hotel was perfect, close to the old town and the port. Additionally, the complimentary toiletries and the free coffee machine in the reception area were a nice touch.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and had excellent soundproofing. The bathroom facilities were top-notch with plenty of toiletries and big, thick towels. The shower was the best we've had on our trip. The location was perfect, just a few minutes' walk to the old town, mercado, and pintos tabernas. We also loved the friendly and helpful staff who spoke English. The hotel had a discount arrangement with a nearby parking station, making it convenient for those with a car.

The standard room at Don Cecilio Guesthouse was excellent value for money, with two small balconies facing the courtyard. The staff were helpful and professional, especially Arriola who went beyond the usual service standards to make our stay pleasant. The location was excellent, close to Old Town without being in the middle of tourist congestion.

The hotel breakfast menu could have been improved with a wider variety of tea options and milk sachets for those who prefer tea with milk.

We got great value for our money with an excellent room that had a clean, fresh modern feel. The location of the guesthouse was ideal, allowing us to easily explore the vibrant and beautiful Basque city. The staff at Don Cecilio were fabulous, always helpful and professional.

Breakfast offerings could be improved with in-room tea and coffee facilities, rather than having them only available at reception.

My partner and I recently stayed at Don Cecilio in the heart of the city for a few nights. The location was perfect, right on the edge of the old town. The apartment was modern and the bathroom was nice, although a bit small. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze. We also appreciated the paid parking option just a short walk away. Our room was quiet, facing away from the street, and there were plenty of breakfast places nearby. Additionally, the room was surprisingly spacious considering its central location. we had a great experience.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The guesthouse had a terrace with lovely views of a not-so-lovely garden. I could totally enjoy drinks at the bar, where I savored the exquisite taste of overpriced cocktails.

Oh, how I missed the joy of asking staff for help, as they conveniently disappeared after 8 pm. How considerate!

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. I was within walking distance to the old town, where I found amazing pinxtos bars and cafes. The hotel was also conveniently close to the train station and the beach promenade. The room was small, but modern and clean. I loved the addition of the espresso coffee machine in the room. The airconditioning and WiFi were excellent. The hotel also had a nice outdoor courtyard where I could relax and unwind.
