I recently had a great experience at a hotel during my travels through Spain and Portugal. the location of the hotel was excellent, just 1 minute from the motorway, making it easy to access and continue my journey. the surroundings were quiet and peaceful, and I especially enjoyed the beautiful gardens where my dog could run and play. the hotel also had an excellent restaurant that served delicious local food and wine at very reasonable prices. I was impressed by the warm and comfortable rooms, which were perfect for my group of four. the staff, particularly Rachel at the evening reception, were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with printing important documents. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling through Spain and Portugal.

We found Hotel Ciudad to be an ideal stopover on our way through Spain to Malaga. the upgraded room we had was modern and well-done after a recent refurbishment. the room service was excellent, and the food was good. Checking out was quick and easy, and we appreciated the added bonus of dog bowls and a bed, as well as a tea/coffee tray.

the upgraded rooms exceeded our expectations. our dog was well catered for with doggie bowls and a mat. the bed was huge and super comfortable. the grounds were lovely and despite being close to the highway, there was no noise in the room.

Our room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the convenience of the hotel's location near the road. the fact that we could see our car from the window in the large car park was a nice bonus. the hotel's bar and restaurant had a pleasant ambiance and the waitstaff were friendly and helpful.

We found that the room facilities, especially the bathroom, were outdated and in need of renovation. the lack of sound insulation meant that we were often disturbed by noise from neighboring rooms.

Updated rooms with no bidet, but a new shower. Option to eat at the bar or restaurant. Polite and efficient receptionist. Lovely new rooms with modern amenities. Convenient location near the highway.

Great location, easy check-in process, and a superb restaurant. the hotel is conveniently located near key attractions and amenities. the staff at the front desk are friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. -the rooms are clean and comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay.

It would be great if the hotel could provide coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms. This would allow guests to have a hot beverage at any time, without having to rely on room service.

This hotel is perfect for those traveling from southern Spain to the UK. Its location near the motorway makes it extremely convenient for through travelers like us. The large and comfortable rooms are ideal after a long journey, and the excellent restaurant and cafeteria provide tasty meals and refreshing drinks. The staff are friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests. Additionally, the hotel's attention to detail is evident in amenities like providing beds and bowls for our furry friends, allowing us to easily eat and drink with our dog.

This hotel is in a great spot, right next to the motorway, making it convenient for travel to and from the ferry. Despite its proximity to the motorway, you don't hear any noise when the windows are closed, ensuring a peaceful stay. The rooms are clean and spacious, with all the necessary facilities, including a separate lounge from the bedroom. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, speaking excellent English. The breakfast is delicious and there is plenty of parking available.

As a group of older travelers on a long motorway journey to Portugal, we found the Hotel Ciudad De Burgos Rubena to be a convenient stopover. The location, just off the motorway, was ideal for us, allowing for easy access and quick departure the next day. The spacy and clean rooms provided a comfortable stay, and the friendly and helpful staff added to the positive experience. the hotel's pet-friendly policy and large garden areas were a welcome bonus for travelers with furry companions.

Convenient location next to road network, isolated with no nearby buildings. Fully booked but no noise, double doors in rooms. Excellent young staff, helpful and pleasant. Ideal parking with CCTV and direct access to rooms via elevator.

Nothing it was perfect.

My room at Hotel was exceptionally clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the staff in charge of the meals were pleasant and attentive. I was delighted with the diverse menu available in the restaurant, and the food, especially the local wine, was exceptional. Additionally, the hotel grounds provided ample space for my dog to roam and they even provided her with a soft bed and dishes.

Value for money was great, with a clean and spacious room that even provided amenities for our dog. The hotel's location right off the highway was convenient for our stopover, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The breakfast option could be improved by ensuring that there is always staff available at the cafeteria in the morning.

Additionally, the hotel staff were accommodating and went out of their way to help us, even printing off our locator forms for our ferry trip. Our romantic escape at this hotel was lovely. We enjoyed the comfort of the room and the delicious meals offered. the room provided a cozy environment with a comfortable bed, perfect for a romantic getaway. the location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access from the nearby motorway. We also appreciated the ample secure parking.

While there were no major issues, some aspects of the bathroom were a little dated. However, everything was in working order.
