My stay at Back Of Beyond in Sigiriya was perfect! The location, surrounded by a peaceful forest and natural reserve, was ideal. The common areas, including a unique tree-house-style reading table, were beautifully set up. The staff were extremely polite and accommodating, providing helpful tips for exploring the area. The breakfast, with delicious Sri Lankan coconut pancakes, was a great way to start the day. The nearby scenic road and lake view added to the charm. It's a great base for exploring the surrounding attractions of Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, and Dambulla Royal Cave Temple. Highly recommend and would definitely come back again!

We stayed at Back Of Beyond - Pidurangala Villa and it was a magical experience. the treehouse was immersed in nature, allowing us to fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the jungle. the facilities were excellent, clean, and comfortable. the food was exceptional, with delicious traditional Sri Lankan cuisine. the staff, especially Aladdin, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. the location was fantastic, only a short walk to Pidurangala and a quick Tuk Tuk ride to Sigiriya. We felt well taken care of and would have loved to stay longer.

Spent Christmas in the treetop paradise. Loved waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying a delicious breakfast. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the guided hike to Pidurangala was a highlight - our guide was knowledgeable and patient. the outdoor shower was a unique experience, and we even spotted some friendly frogs. the food was excellent, especially enjoying meals while chatting with the friendly team. a memorable and extraordinary stay.

If you're not a nature lover, this might not be the place for you. Need to be cautious with belongings as monkeys can be mischievous.
