Granbell Hotel was an incredible find! The rooftop infinity pool and bar offered amazing views of the city, perfect for watching the sunset. The spa facilities were top-notch, and we had one of the best massages we've ever had. The ensuite was luxurious, with a huge bathtub and automatic toilet seat. The overall aesthetic of the hotel gave a modern yet ancient feel. The staff, especially Pradip, provided excellent service and made us feel so welcomed. The room was amazing with comfy beds and a breathtaking view. The rooftop bar served delicious cocktails, especially the passionfruit mojito made by the head bartender. The Japanese restaurant offered a delicious 5-course dinner, and the staff was constantly smiling and happy to serve. an amazing hotel that I highly recommend!

After three weeks of hostel hopping in Sri Lanka, Granbell Hotel was like heaven on earth. The gorgeous hotel offered breathtaking sea views from the bedroom and a fantastic rooftop bar & pool. The staff were incredibly friendly and the breakfast had a great variety of delicious vegetarian dishes. The fitness room and gym had top-notch facilities with amazing views. The cleanliness was impeccable and the on-call Doctor was a lifesaver, providing excellent care for my infection. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Had an amazing stay during the new year holidays! Loved the complementary welcome drinks and the in-room fruit basket that added a personal touch. the location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and local attractions. we enjoyed the rooftop pool which gave us an awe-inspiring view of the city.

We noticed a lack of security checks in the open areas of the hotel. the room lacked certain amenities like extra closets or hangers which could be a challenge if you have large luggage.

We recently stayed at a newly opened Japanese property in Marine Drive and it was an incredible experience. the architectural design of the hotel, which combines Sri Lankan and Japanese elements, is truly unique and elegant. the rooms offer breathtaking views of both the city and the sea, and we highly recommend opting for a sea view room. the facilities, including the rooftop bar and pool, are top-notch. we were impressed by the hotel's on-call Doctor who provided exceptional care and support during our stay. our experience at this property was incredibly satisfying and we can't wait to return.
