A Surprising Delight

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at a beachside resort in Sri Lanka. The location was a hidden gem, offering a peaceful escape from the daily routine. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist. The food was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. We loved the spacious jungle cabin, complete with a refreshing outdoor rain shower. The private beach was clean and inviting. Even though there weren't many activities available, we enjoyed every second of relaxation and tranquility. I would highly recommend this resort for a laid-back vacation.

Lovely huts with great design and aesthetic. The staff were friendly, happy, and professional. The bar staff had exceptional service. The food was delicious - especially the seafood platter. The breakfast pastries and rhubarb strawberry palate cleanser were also a treat. The rooms were clean and had all amenities required. The private beach bungalow was spacious and well set out, with an amazing outdoor shower. The beach was beautiful and patrolled by lifeguards. Superb wine accompanied the fine food consumed in the half board package. The ocean waves were visible from the comfort of the bed, adding to the private experience.

The pool was murky throughout the entire stay.

Nothing to fault.

As foreign tourists, we were amazed by the hotel's perfect integration with nature and the respect shown towards the environment. The private access to the beach was a great perk, allowing us to enjoy the coastline in a more secluded setting. The helpful and friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable, always ready to assist us with any request. We were also impressed with the quality of the food, especially when compared to other hotels in the country. And let's not forget the exceptional breakfast, with a wide variety of options and a very good cappuccino!

Felt safe, no complaints.

A luxurious venue, this hotel provided exclusive amenities that made for an unforgettable stay. the service was impeccable and the spa & wellness centre a true indulgence. An outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a sun terrace and garden area were ideal for basking in the sun and enjoying the beach access. The full body massage was outstanding and the restaurant with private facilities served delicious breakfasts with special diet menus on request. Cons: Whilst our stay was almost flawless, we did notice that some of the room advantages needed a bit of a facelift. the bathroom was not as shiny as it could have been and the head massage could have been a bit harder, but this was a minor issue in an otherwise perfect experience.

During my Christmas stay at this jungle hotel, I absolutely loved the luxurious structure and the attentive staff. the food was incredible, with amazing chefs and a wide variety of dishes. They even went out of their way to make a delicious cake for my kid's birthday. the staff were friendly, polite, and always had a smile on their faces. the location in the middle of the jungle provided a serene and relaxing atmosphere. the experience was unforgettable and I can't wait to go back!

Although my stay was amazing, there were a few small issues. the air conditioning in the room was quite intense and took some time to find the right balance.
