On arrival, Chamara and his team warmly greeted me with a refreshing glass of passion fruit and mint juice, setting the tone for a delightful stay. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, with the rooms cleaned twice a day. The breakfast served was outstanding, with a wide variety of freshly made dishes. The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old fort area, allowing easy access to explore the historical sites and enjoy the bustling atmosphere.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful heritage hotel with great rooms and a friendly ambiance. The poolside seating outside the rooms added to the wonderful atmosphere. The breakfasts were delicious, especially the hoppers that need to be ordered in advance. The location is perfect for exploring the old fort precinct and nearby restaurants and shops. Despite some noise from the rooms above and a few minor issues, my overall experience was delightful. I highly recommend this hotel for a traditional and peaceful stay while exploring Sri Lanka. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel is perfect, right in the heart of the bustling Fort area with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. After a long day exploring, it's wonderful to have a lovely pool to take a refreshing dip in and relax. The rooms overlook a tranquil garden, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The staff are attentive and provide fantastic service, making you feel right at home. The food served at the hotel is outstanding, offering a delightful culinary experience.

Some rooms near the pool may occasionally have a slight smell, possibly due to the nearby septic tank.

Luxurious amenities provided exclusivity at its finest at this hotel. the grandeur of the room, with its elegant interior design and exclusive facilities make the stay a memorable one. Private facilities always readily available to use, and the outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a well-manicured garden area was a great place to relax. the restaurant, bar, and lounge are conveniently located and serve delicious dishes with special diet menus available.

Although the staff were friendly and attentive, their response time could have been quicker, especially when providing guests with snack bar or packed lunches.

Fantastic colonial vibe and well-maintained building. Excellent breakfast spread and option to have a late check-out time. Great location with easy access to attractions nearby.

Rooms with noisy floors and limited privacy due to shared verandahs. Lack of atmosphere and seemingly unwelcoming staff.

I recently stayed at the beautiful Galle Fort Hotel for a relaxing getaway. The central garden with pool was stunning, and the spacious rooms were a delight. Although the Porcelain Suite lacked some decor and had moldy walls, it didn't bother me much. What truly stood out was the exceptional staff. They were always smiley, helpful, and going the extra mile to ensure everyone was happy. The hotel also deserves praise for providing drinking water in reusable glass bottles, avoiding the use of plastic. a great place to stay.
