had an amazing time in ella, and the rock face made it even better. the owner was super friendly and helpful, and the views from the room were incredible. definitely recommend to others.

Uncomfortable without ac, had to sleep with windows open.

Loved the terrace with stunning views and the free WiFi that actually worked. The Asian cuisine at the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was decent too. And hey, free parking!

Pillows were as soft as a rock. Yeah, who needs a good night's sleep anyway?

We had an incredible view from our balcony overlooking the picturesque tea plantations. Waking up to such a stunning sight was truly unforgettable. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and gave us a taste of the local cuisine. our stay at The Rock Face was fantastic.

The host family was incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing us with a map of the area and helpful suggestions. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were spacious. The owner even helped us arrange transportation services. The breakfast was delicious, especially on the Sri Lankan New Year. The wifi was reliable and the tea served was exceptional. The location was central, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to assist me, even picking me up in the pouring rain. They also gave me an upgrade to a balcony room with a better view. The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the center of town. While it is on top of a hill that you have to climb up, it is very close to the town center.

What a view from our room! Worth the steep hill to the property. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The generator came in handy during a power cut. The veranda seating was perfect for sunrise and relaxation. The owner and her daughter were extremely welcoming and helpful. They provided a map and gave great advice. Any issues were quickly resolved. A homestay feel added to the warmth. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The view from the hotel room was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. the location was also very convenient, with shops, bars, and restaurants just a short walking distance away. the host was extremely helpful and accommodating, providing us with all the information we needed and assisting us with our luggage.

The bathroom had lots of tiny moths, which were a bit bothersome, especially when the door was left open. the climb up to the hotel was quite steep and challenging, making it difficult to carry our suitcases, especially at night when the lights were turned off.
