I was pleasantly surprised by the modern and new condition of the rooms at this hotel. The restaurant offered delicious food at reasonable prices, and the nearby town had plenty of affordable dining options. The breakfast, although lacking in English cooked items, was excellent in all other aspects. The hotel was quiet and I rarely heard any noise from other guests. I was pleased to find that I could adjust the temperature in the room, although it did take some persuasion. The location was nice and the hotel was only a 5-minute walk from the train station, making it easy to travel to Basel. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The gym and breakfast were a highlight of my Christmas stay. The gym offered a variety of equipment for a satisfying workout. The breakfast had a great selection of fresh foods for a healthy start to the day. The hotel's location was very convenient as it was easily accessible by train and located close to the town center, which was ideal for exploring on foot.

There were a few downsides to my stay. the lighting in the room was extremely poor and made it difficult to see properly.
