The location of this hotel is simply breathtaking. Situated at the top of the town, it offers stunning views of the Swiss Alps. The sight of cows grazing and the sound of tinkling cowbells create a truly relaxing atmosphere, especially when hiking trails start right at the foothill of the woods. The clean and fresh air is a welcome relief, especially during hot summer months when temperatures in the plains soar. The rooms are uniquely furnished with wood, and each has its own small balcony, allowing guests to soak in the remarkable scenery. The lounge area and restaurant, also furnished in wood, add to the charming and cozy ambiance. Additionally, the breakfast provided is simply incredible for a hotel of this caliber. With a wide variety of options including great eggs and bacon, as well as delicious breads and cakes, it truly exceeds expectations.

Clean hotel with fresh mountain air, located at the start of hiking trails. Good restaurant with terrace offering delicious food and wine. Friendly staff who opened the bar late for us. Room was clean and beautiful, matching the pictures. Outstanding view from balcony. Delicious breakfast and hot tub available.

Spending Christmas at this cozy mountain hotel was a great decision. the breakfasts were a highlight with a wide variety of fresh pastries, fruits, and hot options that were delicious. the location near the ski slopes and train station made it easy to explore the area. We also enjoyed the daily afternoon tea and cake, a perfect way to warm up after spending the day outside in the snow.

The walk to the hotel from the upper station was a bit difficult with snow and our luggage. the road is not very smooth and could be challenging for some guests.

had a fantastic stay in beautiful Leysin, the view from our room at Le Grand Chalet was breathtaking, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The breakfast was delicious and the hot tub was a much-needed bonus after a long day of exploring. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, with a balcony overlooking the valley and mountains. The breakfast had a great variety of options and I enjoyed it with the stunning view of the mountains.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast selection better was adding individual coffee and shampoo packets.

the drive up was stunning, with breathtaking views all around. Our room had a lovely balcony where we could enjoy the scenery. the highlight of our stay was definitely the breakfast buffet, which was possibly the best I've ever experienced. the selection and quality of food was outstanding. our room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a truly enjoyable stay at the Grand Chalet.
