I stayed at the beautiful Matthiol Boutique hotel for our honeymoon and the staff made our trip memorable. The restaurant was top-notch, offering delicious food. The location was perfect for skiing, with ski in/out access. The spa was clean and well maintained, ideal for relaxation. Our room was spacious, with stunning views of the Alps and a peaceful location away from the crowds. I will definitely come back on my next visit.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Zermatt. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were impressive. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a wide variety of options. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The location was perfect, quiet and away from the crowds, with an awesome view of the Matterhorn. The hotel was also conveniently close to the cable car, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.

The hotel is nestled in a peaceful corner of Zermatt, surrounded by open fields and charming chalets in the mountains. It is a short walk down the hill to the town center, offering a calm and serene atmosphere away from the main areas of town. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, with wood ceilings and glamorous chandeliers. Each room has its own private spa area, complete with a sauna, hammam, and freestanding bathtub, providing ultimate relaxation. The breakfast served in the main restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious options, including pastries, muesli, yogurt, Swiss cheese, salami. The hotel staff is friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. They provide excellent service, including complimentary shuttle bus service for arrivals and departures, and even offer an iPad for guests to use during their stay.

The hotel is a bit far from the city center, requiring a 20-minute walk. Although they do provide a shuttle bus for transportation upon arrival and departure, having a regular shuttle service throughout the day would be a welcome improvement.

We loved the friendly staff, spacious rooms with balconies, and the delicious breakfast buffet featuring regional and quality products. The spa area was fantastic, and the hotel's location in the calmer periphery of Zermatt provided a peaceful stay in the Alps.

Nothing, everything was great.

The staff were excellent, very welcoming, and always ready to assist. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the afternoon tea and cake provided a nice treat after a long walk. The spa area was great, offering relaxation and rejuvenation. We enjoyed the position of the hotel, just outside the center of town but still within a 20-minute walk.

The hotel could improve on their organization, as we often had to wait too long during breakfast and the buffet was almost empty towards the end. The bar area was small and uncomfortable, not allowing for a longer stay.

We had an unbelievably amazing experience at Matthiol Boutique. The staff greeted us warmly at the train station and even took our luggage to the property while we explored the town. The room was incredible, with lush linens and a phenomenal view. The bathroom was over the top, with fluffy towels and heavenly bath products. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was straight from the Gods. The staff was attentive and the desserts made us weep with pleasure. We had an amazingly restful sleep and the hotel even packed us a beautiful picnic lunch for our early departure. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, stunning views, and delicious food.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. They offered a complimentary shuttle service from the train station, which was a great convenience. The location of the hotel was also ideal, with easy access to downtown Zermatt and the tram to the top of the mountain. Plus, the views of the famous peak from just outside the hotel were breathtaking.

The room we stayed in was quite small, which may not be suitable for longer stays. Additionally, we found it difficult to regulate the room temperature as the heating could not be turned down.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, offering great service. The room was nice with a separate clothing chamber and balcony. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with regional products and a variety of choices. The spa and wellness area was relaxing with dry fruits and drinks available.

Lovely boutique hotel situated in a tranquil location. Immaculate service from the hotel staff, especially Laura and Yana at the front desk. The breakfast provided is delicious and the food at the restaurant is also excellent. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are clean and warm. The views from the hotel are stunning, especially of the Matterhorn. I highly recommend Matthiol Boutique for a relaxing stay.

Although the hotel is located in a picturesque area, it is a bit inconvenient in terms of distance from the town. It takes about 20 minutes to walk into town, which could be challenging in freezing temperatures.
